Go ahead and judge me now and get it out of the way. Ace’s birthday party was early January and I still haven’t sent thank you cards. ππ©
It was especially important to me this time around because we ended up having a snow storm that day so those who showed up went through a lot to get there.
I printed pictures of the kids at the party intending to include them with the thank you note. It was a good idea in theory but a cluster-you-know-what in practice. The pictures are 4×6 which I figured was on the smallish side of standard. Well, after I’d already printed them, I find out that the standard size for thank you cards is tiny x tiny. So that meant I couldn’t buy the clearance box Β of thank you cards from Target that coordinated perfectly with the party. I had to make more work for myself and buy blank cards and envelopes from Paper Source and jazz them up myself. I ended up buying a rubber THANK YOU stamp to use on both the card and envelope.
I actually did manage to write and deliver exactly one of the thank you cards. But only because I knew I would see this family Β on a particular day and no idea when I’d see them next.
So, I know the execution of the cards ends up is really nice, when I actually do them. Now I just need to find the time and energy to rubber stamp, write personal notes, and stuff fourteen more.
Wish me luck.
Good Luck! It’s the thought that counts π
